Nope but looks British circa 1820.

Wow nothing on the net for Lord & Lees button. Nothing on the face? Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Here is the face of the button Whyme. Thanks for searching net. I have not been finding anything in reference to this back mark, and I thought I had dug about all of the back marks from flattys found in Virginia. The area this button came from was a group of slave quarters and I know that at least one of the slaves Long John was the carriage driver for the Byrds, a very high class family here in Virginia. It is a very heavy well made Button.11 - 1 (9).webp

I've tried several different search engines and got nothing for the backmark...?
I keep getting Lord of the Rings crap..lol

Hope you find the ID you are looking for .. apparently this was't it.
