Is it worth it to buy U.S. and Canadian silver at 10 times the face value of each coin??

It depends on each coin's degree of rarity, condition and demand in the market today.

Dealers are currently buying at 9.5x face, so if you can get it for 10x (no culls), I'd agree ... good deal! U.S. silver coinage 1964 and prior is 90% silver. I think Canadian coinage may be less, so I'd check that out before investing in the "Northern Coins".

I wouldn't hesitate at all at buying 90% silvers at 10 times face.
