Buying the Deus, Best combo or wait for the 4.0 Release??

Hi everyone,

Can anyone give me any advice on buying the Deus? Coil type, best setup for headphones and storage home/travel??

Any info would greatly be appreciated. I have heard its a great combo with the CTX, love the machine but would also like to try the Deus.

The Deus is very light weight and portable.. ie for travel... Sounds like its a great machine to add to the collection.

dont wait the update is geared toward gold prospecting and you can download the update for free when it comes out and the new accessorys and pin pointer can be bought then.

I'd recommend the 9" coil, remote and WS4 headphones. The remote makes changing settings a breeze and the versatility of the WS4 puck is amazing. However, if you want the 11" coil, it's more cost effective to buy the package with the 11" and buy the 9" separate. The package is the same price regardless of the coil choice, but separate, the 11 is a little more than the 9.

You'll love the machine. Like everyone said, don't wait for v4. Base hardware is the same, software is free to update and the new accessories they're releasing are just add-ons.
