I never been before on forums
10 years since I purchased my first Excal1000 after my wife lost in wave her (in fact - mine) favorite earring on Kauai. I did research then and discovered that I can try to recover it with underwater MD.
I never found that earring but I started my new hobby.
It's like fishing, but better, as you keep all your trophies forever.
I truly sorry for all those people who left their rings and staff on beaches and I proud that I returned back all this to humankind circulation instead of slow dissolving of these nice pieces in salt water :-)
I prefer to search by snorkeling in water during low tides. I am not afraid of big waves and cold water as consider this as my fitness. In fact, I even like cold water beaches as they gives more rings. I developed some unique techniques of fast dives between big waves and deep analysis of sand movements, which helps me to narrow search areas and find valuable things on MD-crowded beaches like Waikiki or Santa Monica.
I believe that even very MD-examined beaches still keep most of their treasures. You need just find the way how to reach them )
Regarding places where I search - I travel a lot around the world and I visited lots of beaches. I post map of my flights here just to give you idea of where I've been and where I live. I welcome your guesses :-)
Enjoy also some of randomly selected pictures of finds from my trips, please.
