Where I grew up, there was only 4 radio stations; country, rock, soul, and classical.
Country when Dad had control of the radio, the rest for me, lol. The classical station at night would play radio theater, lol, Dark Shadows and the such. The rock station was real bubble-gum, so we listened to the soul station.
Worked on our moves for the Saturday Night Sink or Swim, $10 bucks at the door, $12 if ya want top shelf, and drink all you can stand till midnight, then get in your car, drive 2 blocks to the Monkey Palace. I wonder if they still have those monkeys there? Hey, that was when you could pull up to a liquor store drive thru, have them make you a mixed drink, and hand it to you in a cup!
Oh, everywhere had a dance floor! LOL
