✅ SOLVED C.C.C. pin - Need an ID

I was digging through some trunks of old family photos and assorted goodies, and found this "C.C.C" pin.
I'm assuming it doesn't stand for "chocolate chip cookies".
Any ideas?

Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! Thanks so much for the ID. It must have been my great-grandfather Charlie's pin then. He worked for a WPA work program in N. Indiana along the rivers during the great depression.

More great info Surf! My great-grandfather was an interesting man and was into everything. When he was working with the work relief program as a timekeeper along the rivers, he would drop bottles with notes in them to see where they would end up. I am physically looking at these notes that were found right now getting ready to write a story about it. One of the bottles he dropped in a river in Ill.in Nov. 1954 made it down to Louisiana and was found in April 1955. Another one was dropped in a river in N. Indiana on Nov. 1936, and was found in Illinois 25 years later in May 1961!!!! Very cool.
