Thank goodness winter is almost over, this cold and snow is driving me nuts. :BangHead: j/k lol But yeah i do have a case of cabin fever here in New England and I really want to try out my new Teknetics Delta 4000. Unfortunately the ground is frozen and covered in a foot of snow. But like always, good things comes to those who wait and I'm looking forward to treasure hunting in the spring. Who knows what this year will bring.

I have found spring is the best time to hunt. Nice soft ground, not much ground cover and at least for a short while, no ticks. Problem here is that Spring could be any time from mid March to mid May. But after more than two months of sub zero weather nearly every day, any kind of a warm up will feel like Spring.

Spring is great. Here in Texas we get one week of spring and one week of fall. The rest of the year is either dry summer or drier winter!

I really shouldn't be complaining, since up until 2 weeks ago I was able to do some kind of hunting at least once or twice a week, even if the results were less than spectacular. But Now, theres over a foot of snow over frozen ground everywhere.

I do think the weather will moderate soon, but this snow might linger a while. I think I'll be dragging A snow shovel along
on my next hunt. Hang in there folks.

SusanMN I hear ya! Anything above freezing is now considered "warm"! Lol!

We are supposed to have 3 days of it coming next week, but it's not on a week end...I just may be doing some night hunting!

They have 40s forecast for us next week!!! Just so much snow on the ground. Sledding hills?, inside the barns at the fairgrounds?, I got to go some place!!!
