Cache creek trip 16june13

Went up to cache creek this weekend. Didn't get to run much due to removing over burden to get to the right layer and where I got good show in the sample pans. This was from just 4 three gallon buckets of material. Ended up getting shut down because of the string of storms but can't wait to get back at it soon.

I've seen people working Cache Creek here in California further up the road from the casino and the campgrounds.

I am from Tennessee but I'm living in Colorado Springs right now. I've been heading up to Granite periodically to prospect there. It's been a great time. I will be heading back to Tennessee soon though as I am getting out of the Army and moving on. But I am definitely hitting up Cache creek one more time for that good gold.

LOL.... The part without the Casino is off hwy 20 between Clear Lake and Williams

Thank you for the support. I have definitely enjoyed prospecting here, and will be back. We just don't have gold back home like colorado does.
