Cal finally found GOLD!

Well, I kept at it until I got me some gold! The ring below the dime is it and it is 14K. It is missing the stone that was in it at one time but I don't care, I found gold. I also got a wheat cent out there where I found the pocket. There were two other rings but they were just junk. I also found a coin I can't identify yet, probably a token. Not a bad haul for only three hours in the surf. I figured out how to reduce the size of the picture so it doesn't take up two screens.

What I find interesting is that many women take stones out of rings and chuck the ring and keep the stone so they don't have to return the ring when wedding does not happen,so as to NOT have to return the ring. In Corona Del Mar I met a gal in the ring tossing process and she told me that story.I have met a couple a gals who have related the same story too. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!!!!John
