The tide is low because water is sucked out before massive amounts of water is on its way back in:laughing7:

Only erosion a tsunami would cause would be death and distruction. I'll take el nino.

The warning was from San Onofre (Border of San Diego & orange County) to San Luis Obispo (NW of Santa Barbara)...a 300 mile stretch of California Coast..
