Looks like " . . der . . " It is made of metal, not plastic. It was found under a torn up road that is in an older part of town. I'll be very impressed if anyone can identify the model of car this is from. I have no idea.

Thanks for all the guesses! I think Rubicon nailed it.

1965 to 1967 FORD ::) Thunderbird. Check out the letter style on the E. It looks pretty good.

Thank you! I spent forever yesterday looking for that, I knew I had seen that script, but all I could come up with were newer scripts. Yeah!

At first I thought the e was different, but it's a little bent up so I'm pretty sure that's it. I think it's as close to the answer as I'm gonna get! I found it on Woodward Avenue in Detroit so I think it's possible that it was from the "Woodward Dream Cruise", which is a very famous yearly week long classic car cruise that has been going on for a long time. It may have actually been lost recently from a classic '65 Thunderbird. It was, however, found under torn up concrete - so who knows,

Thanks again everyone!

Before you declare a winner, check out the Corvair Spyder Fender emblem........

It looks REAL close if you straighten the bent parts of your find.

Chuck

I just noticed a difference where the preceeding letter attached to the D....Oh well, I tried
