I found this button (cover?) today. I know its from the mkt railroad which had a branch run through erie only a few miles away from where I found it.
i tried to find more information about the age or if it was off a uniform but i cant find much beyond where it came from. can any railroad guys tell me any more about it?
my picture of the back i took of the internet its the same as mine i just dont have a picture and i knew you would ask for it.

From what I read about the MKT line it existed from 1870 until 1989. I don't have any idea about the age of your button cover.
