I use the florescent orange stuff myself .. also much better than standard silver duct tape...

Try some gorilla tape,real good stuff.I dont know if it comes in different colors or not.But its 4 or 5 times thicker than your standard duct tape.

Y'all know what your not supposed to use duct tape for?
That's right, ducts. The adhesive dries out and the tape falls off. Using duct tape on duct connections was once ok by code and then time told another story.

You can't use Duct tape to ship packages via UPS either.
I tried & was told no

I haven't tried on Envelopes when the glue is bad yet
