Camped here last night half-way down the hill between Mt. Elbert Forebay and Twin Lakes. Still pretty quiet in this part of the country, but there were 6 or 7 camps set up a half mile west of me. Great day up around 60, but along about 3:30pm a cloud come up out of the east, temp dropped 20 degrees and got lots of thunder and rain mixed with sleet and snow. Rained most of the night, but up north of Leadville along the Arkansas River they got a little more snow than rain.
