Camping and metal detecting

Greetings, I am taking a long weekend in August and going camping with the wife, daughter and grandson. (I may as well use the camper once this year LOL). I have been checking out sleepy hollow state park near St. Johns on line and wondered if anyone has ever camped there. It looks like a nice park on the internet however I know that can be deceiving. They have six places to detect there but I am sure clad is about all I will find but you never know. Thanks in Advance for any advice.

been a few years since i camped there. If memory serves me correctly the lake and beach are a short drive from campground, also there might be hunting there, if so and a season is open i'd be hesitant to do too much walking in the woods(there are trails ,some long). its a nice place,good campground facilities. Check with the dnr there about hunting,(i could be wrong or that may have changed,but dont think so)
