Camping/Water hunting

Some places allow you to hunt on the beaches some dont...if it is a corp of engineers park, then most will allow you to hunt anywhere that has already been disturbed ie: beaches, picnic areas, ect. Just check with the gate attendant or other officail. If your gonna be in hot springs for a while, make sure to go dig for diamonds at the crater of diamonds state park in murfreesboro(spelling?) it's only about an hours drive south of hot springs and you could get lucky and bring out a nice diamond.

It might help to include a self addressed stamped envelope. I got my permit back within a week of sending in to the Lake Ouachita office. Good for a year.

Am I reading those laws correctly? ??? No detecting during the summer---at all????? :icon_scratch:

Thanks for all the info. Received my permit today. Now if the water would go down. It's always something............ HH Gayle
