✅ SOLVED Can anyone figure out this button?

This is the only picture I have of it. I took a guy out last night to an old park for his first time metal detecting, and he found this. The back is gone so it's just a shell, but here it is. We couldn't read the text because of wear, but I'm hoping someone can identify the design.
