Can anyone help identify this gem?

I have been trying to figure out what this gem is but have been unsuccessful! Was wondering if anyone had any clue what this may be? I was thinking some type of jasper, but I'm not too sure.. Thanks so much!!

Thank you, but I don't think it's moss agate because there is no green coloring to it - the stone is brown and tan!
