It looks to be a statue made by indians. What state did you locate it in? If you will send me some good pictures, I have a friend that can probably identify it for you.

Was dug in Mississippi. No markings or letters on it. I cant find anything looking like it.

I'd agree that it looks African or Tribal... It looks genuine and not a tourist trap, but i'm guessing so...
