Can someone help me in identifying what type of pistol this is ?

I found this old pistol today metal detecting on our property. If anyone could help me in identifying the make it would be greatly appreciated.

I dug up one very similar in size that I thought was a toy but after an extensive vinegar soak I could actually see 22 ammo still in the cylinder
