Sone kind of Jade? Granite? Quartz? Igneous something? It was given to me and I am dying to know I have searched online but can't figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks all.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Clomas5214 ! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) - members may have more success helping you (your location may help, etc.)...

2nd - If no one can identify your find - you might consider posting your pictures on ROCKS/GEMS for more exposure...

The sawed-in-half photo of the stone shows its interior is uniformly semitransparent grey with a single very slight banding, and small fractures containing microcrystals. Therefore, it looks to me like Grey Chalcedony. For comparison, take a look at the Green Chrome Chalcedony here:
