Visited with a friend yesterday.
Exchanged a couple books and talked for a while.
He gave me an old brass pomander that he picked up at an antique store years ago, and asked if i could find some info on it.
Really like to know of the age and origin of this thing. Is it a Pomander? Is it vintage or some imported reproduction.?
Type, Era, Origin, etc. Any info would be appreciated.
It is very detailed and looks like some time went into making this.
Looks like it could be stuffed with herbs and then hung from a belt or string.
It is 1.8" long and .60" wide.
Thanks
