Can anyone identify this cupboard

Good morning

I have acquired the attached and am puzzled as to its age, purpose and in particular the pull out arm to the right hand side. The brass handles are campaign style recessed
whilst the top displays dovetailed sides. Any information would be appreciated

I see that it is assembled using "dovetailing" of the joints. Not any expert on your cabinet but this might help date it...

Apologies Pepper only just seen your response. The pull out is not removable. Thank you for your interest.

Appears to be a room service-style cart. For delivering to hotel rooms. The pull-out gives more room for set-up of delivered food, once in the room. There may have been a shelf in it at one time.
