Those pics are WAYYYYY to big... but what what I can tell it is a more common bottle an would have had a paper label on the front of the bottle
 

That's an Owens-Illinois Glass mark on the bottom. They started using it in 1929 or 30. I'd say your bottle dates from the 30's. Foley's are pretty common even ones that are 50 years older. He had different medicines such as Honey & Tar and Kidney, Liver and Bladder cure. Yours would have has a paper label.

Don't give up, you may have found a old dump site... if you find alot of glass shards or bottles laying around in one area then start digging that is probly a dump...

Thanks Creeper, there is no doubt it's a dump site. We plan on rooting around some more.

If you need in any help getting started let me know, I will tell you how to do it an what tools you'll need....
 

Take creeper71's offer, I would take it, it is a very difficult task diggin the old dump, finding the right tools and such, just getting started, learning all the "pit"-falls and tricks of the trade. First of all, a good quality spade shovel is needed, and if the dump is in a tree area, you will need a good set of pruning loppers. Dig carefully!
