Hey you opened it....here I go. RANT in progress.....

17 banks in 2 days, and I got nothing... Of course I HAVE seen silver in the (teller trays), heard about silver, YEP, tellers showing me the finds all the time, telling me about the finds, telling be about COINFLATION.COM, telling customers right by me about silver, I keep missing half dollars because the CRH GHOST is everywhere apparently "someone JUST picked them up this AM, "vault teller will be back in 20 minutes...(do they ever work bc its a re-occuring theme here), super friendly smiles until I mention the H word, and they look at you like your the scum of the earth!!!! Any AG in my possesion? hell no. Im so sick and tired of grinding it out with NO RESULTS these last 2 days! I started using an Australian accent today just to keep me entertained.

Im so sick and tired of tellers going on and on....playing me as another wombat CRH. Sure I got my score on Saturday, but 17 banks and nothing to show It wouldnt be so bad, but 2 times today...."these ones dont dont have any silver, 2 TIMES." Did I friggin ask you if they did have silver Just hand them over and shut your trap. On and on and on, Im telling you PHX has the best damn educated tellers in the whole damn US of A.

Im telling you, Phoenix SUCKS!!! It's like a saying, all this water, but not a drop to drink, because its friggin corroded!

I feel just a tad better now...using an Australian accent. Ughh

My favorite bank that saves me silver and old bills all know about silver, but told me "we couldn't be bothered" so they save it for me.

There are a lot of tellers around here that know about silver, even more that don't know and even more that know, but could care less about it.

I went to the bank today to dump and the teller said she had a couple of older halfs, and said i could buy them. I said sure. 3 Franklins. alot of the tellers her really dont care about coins silver or clad. I would just order boxes if i were there. HH and good luck.

You can always just buy a few boxes, take some pictures of your finds next to some unopened rolls and sell them on eBay for 50% over cost, right? Then turn around and buy some silver with your profit. Tempting, but not quite as satisfying as finding your own. I feel for you bro... every time I think its bad here in Vegas, I think about Phoenix and it makes me feel better. Do what I do when I search all day and don't have a silver score - go home and score with your wife!

This is how I feel with my half dollar boxes, 12 boxes and only 1 1964. (over the course of 3 months or so)!!!

So one day you are grinning about 14 silvers, and the next day you are moaning like a school girl about no silver in 2 days? Can't have it both ways dude. YOu either found 14 silvers, or you were skucked, but you can't find 14 silvers at the first bank, go to more, and then say you found none total.

Yes, it is tough in Pheonix. We already discussed that. And when you first started, and I said it was tough out here, you (and a few others) said that the old guys like me (and a few others) should leave the board, because silver was always there, even if not like a few years ago, and it was your board now. And you would always find silver and be happy.

You are all over the place. Up one day, down the next. And not up a lttle, but ecstatic, and not down a little, but almost depressed the next. Chill a little! Yes, boxes suck in Phoenix., Yes, silver is better in the east. Yes, the only spot you will find silver halves out here is in the trays, and many tellers are culling that now too. So yes, it is TOUGH. But, it has successes. Like YOUR success of one day earlier. :-) Hey, that was a GOOD success. Success for me is ONE silver from a teller tray, and a GREAT day is 14 like you found! And when i go to 28 banks and find nothing, that is the norm. WHen i find 14 silvers, it is great.

Don't be so erratic. Keep plugging, find what you wil find, and you'll be fine. Otherwise, when you base your entire CRH career on just the last 24 hours, and you are either GREAT (yesterday) or TERRIBLE ( today) you are going to drive yourself (and a few others) nuts. Be happy or bummed instead of great or depressed. Level it out some. Make you a better CRH over the long term.

Not yelling at you, just saying to calm down, enjoy the finds, realize the bad days come with it, and stay level headed. Keep working the pennies too, which I know you are, and that will give you some profit while you wait for the halves to show. And you ARE getting silver halves, so keep at that too. BUt if you want to BE one of the old timers some day, you need to look at the long term and not be so up and down on a daily basis. :-) Don't burn yourself out like so many short termers have done.

Yes, I get what you are saying. My find was on Saturday and I was very motivated to start the week. While it may have only been 2 days, it was alot of stops and alot of time. I went all out Monday and Tuesday...that's alot of banks with nothing (I am limited to hunting on break and after work).

I will take your advice and level down a bit...but the point of my post was to vent in frustration. I do appreciate constructive criticism so thanks. I also appreciate insults, keeps me sane and my humor up.
