Can someone give me an ideas as to but this could be?

View attachment 1192224. This was found in Vicksburg, MS while metal detecting near a old hospital. It is metal and about 6 inches long. It is thicker on the straight end/ left side of picture and gets thinner as it goes towards the pointed end / right side of picture. Does anyone have any idea as to whast this could be ? thanks for your help.

a simple guess would be a cultivator tine.by its size I would guess hand tool
