I got these today in a trade, can you give me an estimate on the value please? I was hoping they were at least $10 a piece.

Im not an expert by far but to me they look like AU's or better

I had a small stamp collection when I was a kid, and I found it the other day at my parents house, most were cancelled stamps. I looked on ebay and saw no real value so I posted it up for trade on a couple forums and a guy offered me these 4 coins for it.

I was happy with that.

if they have been buffed or polished, I don't know, but there is no scratch marks at all

Nope, they don't look polished or buffed at all to me either, bright original surfaces... and VERY nice.. wonder if they have a full bell line...be careful how you handle those and store them.

I'm trying to google a pic for you... as I'm not good at explaining it but not very many franklins were struck well enough to show strong details.. particularly when it comes to the lines in the bell on the reverse.. and then even when they were some were damaged by being in a bag with a bunch of other ones.. so finding mint state franklins with full bell lines is RARE and they command a big premium. Unfortunately I'm not finding any pics big enough to show you what I'm talking about.. perhaps somebody else here will have a link...

nope.. if you know anybody who collects coins ask if you can borrow their redbook, I'm guessing there's a good description in there. Or heck, just pick one up as they make handy little reference books for u.s. coins.

According to my Redbook those are in MS-65. They look like they have original mint luster. Barely any noticable scratches or blemishes. They meet all the criteria for Mint State 65 condition. A couple of them look like they could command more than book value. My books prices are a little old but by todays market I would guess around 20 bucks each, maybe more. Take care of them, slab them in plastic or mylar holders to protect your investment. Very nice. Thanks for showing.

Yeah, those look like great coins to me also. I don't see any signs of cleaning, though it's hard to tell from pictures. The luster doesn't mean they've been cleaned. Those coins look very bright and shiny like that from the mint.
