I asked my wife as she is the one who collects old dishes. She says "It looks like an English Willow pattern. Usually it is blue and called Blue Willow."

quite nice ---I only have "shipwreck shards" being a beach hunter I've never got a whole "intact" plate---english pottery--- shaffordshire area --type-- transferware ---pink in color ( some folks mistakenly call it red ) from about 1820 to mid 1847 era --very nice quite a find (its highly collectible by the way)---Ivan

Nice piece, Mary. How did you come across it? Very special if it came out of the ground in that condition............sorry-one-tracked mind. ;D
