can the owner be found? chauffurs tag

hey there. i know you guys' and gals' out there are good at id-ing finds.
so heres my question..can the serial number on this tag help find the owner. i found this in cincinnati.oh
if so..can you tell me who?

I think it is unlikely that chauffeur records are on the internet and publicly available. You might find the information at the state archives on microfiche.

If you found it on private property you might try researching previous owners.

Cool find! I've found one before too. Chances are the owner is not alive but you never know. Good luck finding the original owner. Let us know how it turns out.
