Can you read what it says?

I can only make out a few of the letters, some even look upside down. Is it a different language? Pretty sure it's a GILT button as someone else said in the other post. Here it is cleaned up a bit more. (found detecting on the beach a couple days ago)

I think I see a fat monkey type figure holding something in front of him while wearing a crown.

Can anyone make out exactly what it says?

I see a British Crown....the spelling Colour is English for color ...yup Gilt button.
