Canada Day Finds

Back in the bush fighting the flies and rain with a Tim Horton's in my hand...it was a truly Canadian day.

Canada only starting making large cents in 1858 so I'm almost there.




Big fish hook, musket ball, Queen Victoria penny and more



No idea what they were trying to fish with using this hook...maybe sturgeon in Lake Superior.



Strangely two years ago today I found another 1859 large cent in the same area.
