I'm in Toronto on a layover, and got to thinking about CRHing in Canada. What kind of returns are you guys finding in Canada? That is, how many silver coins per amount searched? Any denominations that are better or worse?

Perhaps...but I bet that would make the finds better too. People probably realize less often that they have silver because all the coins look the same at first glance!

The government has been reclaiming silver for years. You won't find much in bank rolled coin, best bet I think would be customer rolls.

Extend your "layover" get a metal detector and I think you will be pleasantly surprised . I base this opinion on seeing many Canadian detectorists videos here ,and on youtube .I love Canadian silver coins !

Shoot, no I'm not Canadian but I did find 150+ of their silvers over the last couple years, in US rolls.

I'm not exactly sure how many Canadian silvers but I know I've found more silver Canadian dimes than Mercs.
