Canadian one and five cent coins

My kids and I collect Canadian coins as a by product of our American CRHing.

Does anyone know or know where to look to find out which years did Canada mint both zinc and steel pennies?
Copper/nickel and Steel nickels? Are they contining to do so?

I have a 2011 zinc (non magnetic) canadian penny. Does anyone know why they are still minting them and not fully swiched over to steel?

2011 should be plated steel. When you say non-metalic, do you mean non-magnetic?
