Cant figure this one out....

Can't figure this one out....

aside from the usual pennies, dimes and quarters; I found this on the soccer field. Its pretty heavy for its size
any ideas?

Obviously some type of jewelry (necklace pendant?) made to resemble a soccer ball. Never seen one before but here's one like it for $69 !!!!
