If they are electrical, they look like capacitors.
 

can't tell with no size reference but looks like electronic components from a circuit board.
 

Look like fasteners for a ream of paper. I.e. put them through the punched holes and bend the pins over, for book reports,etc.
 

I posted the back of them. Figuring out new way to post. Been awhile. Old house from 1800s trash pile
 

I worked in upholstery for almost 20 years....that's the closest guess I could come up with...but we never used those...???
 

How would one "hammer in" the pins posted with the head attached?....I worked with hand tools, but mainly pneumatic ?

The ends of the pins are sharpened, so that sort of suggests they may be just fancy stick pins. Capacitors would have the leads run into the body, not across it. My best uneducated guess.
 

I agree not electrical for sure!!!
