can't scroll smoothly, screen freezes....

every few seconds! Help!! I don't visist here or post as often as I used too because of these problems. As I try to scroll, it's very jerky, only on this site, other sites i visit don't seem to have the jerkiness, so it doesn't seem to be my computer. And the screen/site freezes about every 10-15 seconds. won't scroll, can't click, can't do anything but wait about ten or fifteen seconds....very frustrating and I usually just give up and leave. Can I change some kind of setting to make it better? I have Windows Vista, Explorer 7. something

Thanks,
lisa

oh yeah, I noticed the problems began when the big changes were made after changing ownership, if that helps

Site is running fine on my end, so it is on your end.... I get no freezes here at all.....

When is last time you defragged your hard drives, ran spyware check and virus check....? We have been on new soft ware for well over 9 months now..

What browser are you using? Have you tried Chrome or Firefox to see if that corrects your problem?

How old is your PC?

Treasure hunter, yes, yes and I've been having these problems this whole time, I think I have have Chrome, I'll try Firefox, and my computer is 5 years old. Our internet provider is notoriously slow, if it's not Tnet, then it's my computer, or provider, And thanks Red James Cash, i'll look there.

Thanks
lisa

Tnmountains had suggested it might be my mouse, it was. It was only scrolling 3 lines per click, I upped it and the scrolling works now, and the freezing seems much better. It still hesitates after a big scroll, but only for a second or two.
