Carrot on the way

My detector came with a free pinpointer. I'm pretty sure it is the bounty hunter one. Well on the first hunt with it it did not work. All it would do is keep making noise. By the time I ended the hunt it decided it was going to work so I gave it a second chance yesterday. Of course it was a no go. Turn it on and it would stop no matter where the dial was turned. Soon as I got unloaded at home I ordered a carrot. It is no fun trying to find a black coin in black dirt without a pointer.

How did we ever manage before technology came along......I remember the handful of dirt being waved under the coil regimine Boy am I glad thats over. You will be in pinpoint heaven now.

I can imagine, I'm just starting out in this hobby and I can already see how much easier it will be with a pin pointer.
