Carter Wisconsin tokens???

The book, Trade Tokens of Wisconsin, lists one - dated 1906 and good for 5¢ in trade. Is that the one you have?

So while I have you on the line, I have a token from GRIGNON & COUGHANOUR, but it is a maverick (i.e. doesn't say where it is from). Any of your kin ever in partnership with somebody named Coughanour???

Interesting, but no relation. Sorry. As for the token I have it is the one you see in the book only in a 50 cent variety. Does it list a price. I just heard some one bought the 25 cent variety for $135.

No prices or rarities listed in the WI Book.

There was a Minor Brothers Lumber Company in Carter WI...Forest County

Thats where this one came from, well originally. I found it a couple years ago at a Oshkosh, Wisconsin construction site.
