I was hunting all day with nothing to show but a few flats when my machine got a good solid hit. I knew when I dig the object up it was a bullet but when my hunting buddy turned it upright he noticed right away it was a carved tophat....guessing it was done by a Yankee. LOL

That's really cool, Dirt Listener!

While it's always cool to find an old relic, it's even better to find one that's been "personalized" by someone back then! Not only did they hold it, they spent time and thought on it!

Sky Pilot

Very Cool, looks very unlikely to have mushroomed from hitting something that uniformly.

Very nice piece of Soldier's art. Could have been intended for use as a chess piece. HH, Quindy.

Excellent carved bullet find. One of the neatest I've seen posted.
Those Yankees soldiers sure were talented.
Congrats,

Early Monopoly piece...

That is a very neat find. Always cool to find something rare and one of a kind.

Cool find! Now, where is this "ass pro shop"? ;D

guessing it was done by a Yankee." And? :laughing7:

That is a F-I-N-E relic

A tip o' th' hat to ya! That's a keeper, maestro! I like the Monopoly mention. Maybe you can find the other pieces. I can just see those soldiers rolling the dice and buying hotels on Boardwalk by fire light, LOL!

I had to scroll back to the beginning for the "ass pro shop" comment...lol.

Don't ask, don't tell...
