Lots of improvised chess pieces have been found . . . maybe a very simplified "King"?
 

I seriously doubt that it was a bullet. The size, the thickness of the wall/rim are so far off. if it were from a bullet, it would take more work to get it to that shape and form than if they simply constructed it from a flat piece of lead. Not sure what it is though
 

May be a King piece for a chess set... Nice...

Found a cool piece of carved lead at a place that I thought was hunted out. Looks like it might have started out as a bullet.
