Carved wood piece what is it

Anyone know what this is. Measures 2 ft in length and has a hole in the bottom.....also a small hole in back to hang I suppose....the eyes have nails for the pupils

Like smallfoot says, it's a Tiki Polynesian symbol for good luck, health and other stuff like that. Was probably mounted on a pole.
