My son and I decided to cash in my clad Ive found in the sand this year. We took an old piece of screen and dumped the coins out and hosed it off and let it dry. Checked for silver, 3 Dimes, and put all crusy ones back in the bucket for another time. Hit the coinstar and found a 1943 Merc Dime in the reject tray 
my son says they should call it the Winner Tray! We cashed in $45.00 and still have some more to clean. Next year my beach clad goal will be $100.00 hopefully not one penny at a time.
