Cast Iron Farm Field Find

[Iron Buzz]

Found in a field that held a homesite in 1865 but is still farmed. Cast iron, weighs just a hair less than one pound, so probably not a cane handle, as others have suggested to me.

First impression is some sort of linkage or tie rod piece. Please post a picture of the other side.

Looks like an old car trunk or door handle. It would make a wonderful cane top!

It is symmetrical. The other side looks the same.
