Does anyone know what this came off of? It's thick, cast iron like maybe a piece of a stove, or possibly farm equipment. It came from an 1880's home site where I have found both stove and farm equipment pieces. About six inches long and two and half wide, more or less. (The other item in the pic is a 12 gauge shotshell headstamp, but I already know what it is.)

The piece reminds me of a stove part.
Especially the backside.
It went on the bottom front of the woodstove.
Then a person could access to the lower chamber of the stove to scrape out the ash.
