has anyone found their machine to go haywire right before they get a phone call or is it just me? I keep telling my wife she is bouncing around between a pulltab and a clad quarter whenever she call me out in the field:laughing7:

well I don't keep a cell phone on me in the field. I would think microwaves could definitely cause a problem esp. when you answer your cell phone or get a call. Cannot be coincidence.

I don't consider that unusual. Cellphones are transmitters and detectors can pick up on those transmissions just like any other electrical interference. The most likely reason your getting more interference during a call is that the cell phone increases its output during the notification stage of the call as it handshakes with the local tower to establish connection.

MY Samsung S4 does not interfere with my Eurotech Pro or my Ace 250 but does my F2 but thats ok I do not use the F2 much at all.
