Got out to the cellar hole today from a little after 9 am til about noon
Watercolor had some HONEY DO things to do and Kimsdad had some emergency family matters to attend too so they couldn't make it out.
Kind of good thing since it turned out to be a rainy and snowy about an hour into the hunt. Muddy areas prevailed afterward.
After about 1 1/2 hour I dug a nice low tone on the SE. Pinpointing my target in the pile of dirt ( Mud ) I was greeted with a 1895 " V " Nickel. ( at first I thought it was an 1885 )
This is my second coin from this large homestead, the other is a 1900 Barber dime.
Thanks for looking.
