Howdy Folks,

I used to relic hunt quite a bit in N. Va until I moved to Connecticut. I am going to share some stories and pics now that I figured this stuff all out. The first group here was dug in Oakton, VA along Difficult Run. Lots of colonial stuff. The only positive CW activity was the three dropped Gardners. Rovnbl...remember this spot?

Did anyone recognize the musket "furniture" on the right. The piece of brass there?

Nice relics Arch,What are all the flat buttons in the pic,s?

Judging by the bullets (Gardners) and the buckle

not posted that's an early war reb site. May have some pre-CW stuff mixed in. The rebs were camped all in that area. Brass in lower left looks like parts to a power flask but you knew that.

Cool relics,....looks like typical Confederate camp finds to me....NICE DIG !!
