I know of a place in my town with TONS of cellar holes from the mid-late 1800's, would it be best to hunt around the perimeter of them, in them, or on the road out to them?
Second that. In 'em always seems the hardest, because everything that was once above it, has fallen into it. Nails, tin, etc. Then you get folks that have tried to fill them with cans and trash. So disrespectful of the cellar hole.
