Nice find. I think it's Diorite but I'm not the best at material ID. It's hard for me to determine whether it's Diorite, Diabase or Granite although I think it's one of the three.

In Deep East texas we call the ones with the narrow bit like yours a Chisel...
 
Definitely diorite. Diabase is much finer grained. Granite has quartz, mica, and feldspar.
