Today I went back to a new area of woods I've started to search recently. Aside from digging bullets and shot gun shells I found this Cenol Fly Destroyer advertising printing plate. Odd find for the woods. Can anyone date this?

Very collectable item for those in the pest control industry

I want to read your post but I am worried your avatar is going to give me a seizure.

Yep. Too damn freaky for me too.

Super awesome find! That is one of a kind and uniquely cool. Your avatar does leave my head spinning a little... LOL

Thanks for the compliment haha my avatar is great, I've been using it for over 10 years.

I'm going to try to find more plates when I go back tmrw. Hopefully it's one of many to be found.

I think I found this exact plate used in a newspaper from July 25th 1924 (near the bottom).

Yea, older pest control product company.
Here are a few of their other products.
If it crawled or flew this company seemed like they wanted to kill it.

Sweet relic find! :occasion14:

Love it!
I collect old poison containers, and digging that plate would be a highlight!

Haha thanks man, that was the only good thing I found that day. Finding printing plates is exciting. This one is my favorite out of the 3 I found last year.

Excellent plate recovery. Someone may have brought a a spray container of bug spray along on a camping trip.
Congratulations on the find.

way too cool... I would pass out if I found something like that!!. great find.
